Wilderness Trace Community Foundation  - The formation of a community foundation for the benefit of the Wilderness Trace region was recommended from a two-year study sponsored by the Danville-Boyle County Chamber of Commerce and endorsed by the Heart of Kentucky United Way. 

As a result, The Wilderness Trace Community Foundation was formed in 2002.  The Foundation’s Board of Directors (listed below) represent Boyle, Garrard, Lincoln and Mercer counties.
