New Directors Appointed to Foundation Board
The Community Foundation of Louisville is pleased to announce the appointment of four highly-qualified community volunteers to its Board of Directors. Each of the new directors brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the work of the Foundation. Please join us in thanking them for their willingness to serve our community.  Pedro A. Bryant is Chairman, President and CEO of the Louisville Community Development Bank. He is also President and CEO of the Bank’s nonprofit affiliate, the Louisville Enterprise Center, which does business as the Louisville Enterprise Group. A career banker with over 26 years of banking experience, Pedro served in bank management positions at banks in Oklahoma, South Carolina and Georgia prior to coming to Louisville in 2002. His other board memberships include Metro United Way, Greater Louisville Inc., U of L Board of Overseers and the Louisville Free Public Library Foundation.

Maria G. Hampton was appointed Vice President and Senior Branch Executive of the Louisville Branch, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis in 2005. The Louisville branch is focused on community development and education, as well as economic research and policy input. Before joining the Fed, Maria was president of the Housing Partnership, Inc. a nonprofit corporation focused on creating affordable housing in Louisville Metro. Prior to that, she was employed for 26 years with Bank One Kentucky (formerly Liberty National Bank).
 Dorothy S. “Dot” Ridings retired and returned to Louisville in 2005 after serving as President and CEO of the Council on Foundations, the national association of community, corporate and private foundations. On the national level, Dot also served the League of Women Voters of the United States as president from 1982 to 1986 and as a member of its board of directors from 1976 to 1986. Her current board memberships include the Commission on Presidential Debates, Kids Voting Metro Louisville, Louisville Forum and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
 Eric W. Taylor has been CEO of Taylor Homes, a regional home builder, since 1993 and active in the home building business for the past 22 years. He is also CEO of BFT Investments, a locally focused real estate investment organization. Eric is a partner member of Leadership Louisville, a diverse group of leaders who serve as catalysts for a stronger community. His board memberships include the Anchorage School Board, the Bluegrass Chapter of Young Presidents Organization and East Louisville Sports/Middletown Recreation.
