Over this past year, many human service agencies have worked tirelessly to help the growing number of individuals and families in our community who have lost jobs, homes, health care and self-confidence during this economic crisis.

At the same time, these key safety net agencies have experienced a significant decrease in contributions and revenues - just when the need for their help spiked.

I believe it is more important than ever during a time of crisis to support the Metro United Way, a key partner with us in making Greater Louisville a healthy and caring place to live and work, day in and day out.
